An amazing experience in all senses. From the Buggy chauffeured ride to the restaurant, warm greeting and impeccable, friendly & efficient service throughout our night. Our food was so delicious with the accompanying aerobatics show included. Not to mention the wonderful light show opposite amongst the jungle greenery. A much more expensive meal than we are used to in Bali but we loved every minute and it was worth every cent 🌟 Thank you for a beautiful night to remember & recommend to our friends and family

Had the most wonderful birthday dinner. Service was above superb. Ambiance was lovely. Floor manager Arista and our server Yunita was kind and made sure we had an enjoyable time. Will be back!!

What amazing place, the akar restaurant so amazing, the food so good and the staff all so friendly, I love so much the atmosfer Special thanks to Arista she so amazing and Bayu this boy so friendly and he has good education for all that we need. Excellent restaurant. Had a great fusion dining experience here! Not only the food is great, the customer service is also fantastic. We had a pleasure getting food recommendation and chatting with one of the staffs, Surya, here. He arranged a few extra side dish and the dessert for us, which taste very good! Eventually as we came here by Grab, they even helped arranged a car service back to our resort, such a great service! The atmosphere is also great. Saw a few tables celebrating their birthdays here and the staffs made a good vibe here! Time well spent here!

Elle a fait de cet soirée un moment inoubliable. Pour couronner le tout nous avons eu une petite attention à l’occasion de notre lune de miel à la fin. Vraiment merci. Food were really good, every dish was a spot on. Steak is a must order.. the lava chocolate cake was very yummy too.. paired with a citrus cream, so good! Service were superb too, very attentively and were very helpful for all our requests. Surprise cake was delicious and we enjoyed our time and food very much

Excellent service by Tweety and Arista, and an amazing dance performance at Akar! We celebrated a birthday at Akar and were delighted by the thoughtful service and festive atmosphere. The staff surprised us with complimentary sides and dessert, making the occasion even more special. This was our second visit with family, and it exceeded our first experience in every way. Akar continues to surpass our expectations. Tweety stayed near our table throughout the meal, ensuring we had immediate assistance whenever needed. Arista went above and beyond, joining the staff in singing a heartfelt birthday song and showering us with so much love and warmth. As for the food, the beef carpaccio, sautéed mushrooms, and baby chicken were absolutely delicious. We can’t wait to return for another unforgettable dining experience!

Wow. What an amazing dining experience. Everything from the personal WhatsApp reservation service to the in dining performances was exceptional. Certainly the best dinner we have had in our time in Bali. Absolutely worth every penny. Highly recommend the risotto.

I went to Akar to celebrate my husband’s birthday and our first time in Bali - safe to say this place exceeded our expectations. The food was exceptional and the service was just as good! We were served by Bayu who was very welcoming and ensured we had the best experience. They also brought out a dessert for my husband’s birthday and did a special performance to celebrate. Cannot recommend Akar enough if you’re in Ubud - thank you to the amazing Akar team!

We had breakfast everyday at Akar during our stay at KClub. The breakfast menu was probably the best one I experienced so far. Each dish was well presented and tasted as good as they looked. Despite the amount of preparation time (Vs breakfast buffet), the food was served fast. Dinner was great as well with great music. We were given complimentary dessert after our dinner which they offered to deliver to our villa to enjoy later. Staff were all very friendly. Great experience. 👍🏻

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! Me and my husband came here as we are on our honeymoon and the staff really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and cared for. The food is quite literally the best we have ever had, and Tweedy our server was nothing short of amazing, always close by to assist with anything and everything. If your looking for a 5* dining experience, atmosphere and phenomenal service the Akar is the place to be!

I come to Bali often and this restaurant is by far my best experience. Not only was the food delicious, ambience absolutely stunning but the staff were incredible. I've never experienced such great customer service from all staff members. It was my friends birthday and they even came and sang to her and brought her cake. Highly recommend coming here and will be back again!

Our experience at Akar last year was extraordinary, and returning this year for our joint birthdays, we were thrilled to find the restaurant exceeded our expectations once again! Nestled within the exquisite 5-star K Club jungle resort in Ubud, Akar boasts an authentic bamboo design that immerses you in the lush surroundings. From the moment we arrived at reception, we were met with warm smiles and graciously escorted to the restaurant via a resort buggy. The atmosphere was enchanting, featuring candlelit tables adorned with sparkling navy sequined tablecloths, elegant glass placemats, and gold candelabras, creating a lux opulent, yet intimate setting. Our waiter, Bayu, was exceptional - attentive and personable, he made sure we were well taken care of while checking for any food intolerances, making us feel like absolute royalty. We kicked off the evening with a delightful signature cocktail and tomato sourdough bruschetta with feta, while enjoying the vibes from the resident DJ, whose selection of World Chillhouse tracks was enhanced by a stunning laser light show illuminating the jungle. The culinary offerings were remarkable, expertly grilled on charcoal by a highly skilled team of chefs. The king prawns were cooked to perfection, while the tender lamb, served medium rare, was paired with three unique salt and spice mixes and a rich mushroom sauce. With a selection of knives provided, each bite of lamb infused with coriander offered an incredible depth of flavor, complemented beautifully by sides of asparagus and truffle fries. For dessert, we chose a crème brûlée served with mango salsa and chocolate sorbet and a chocolate mousse served with passionfruit and raspberry sorbet and a mango salsa. Both were equally delicious! As a wonderful surprise, the entire team gathered around our table, singing and clapping to celebrate our birthdays, presenting us with individual birthday cakes and a complimentary glass of champagne in gratitude for returning for a second year. To cap off our evening, we were treated to a mesmerizing aerial performance, featuring graceful hoop and dance moves that added an unforgettable touch to our celebration. I am immensely grateful to the team at Akar for their heartfelt hospitality, exceptional service, and super tasty cuisine. This birthday dinner will be cherished for a lifetime!

Had an amazing experience at Akar Ubud! Everything was perfect from the start. The ambiance and interior of the place is stunning and romantic, perfect for a date night. The food is excellent, especially the lamb loin which was so tender and perfectly paired with their special salts. For dessert, I loved their lava cake which has the perfect amount of sweetness. Service wise, I couldn’t express how great the staffs were in making us feel the best! They made the effort to explain each dish and to check up on us from time to time. As it was our honeymoon, they surprised us with a cake and some champagne which we made us feel so special! At the end of the dinner, they assisted in arranging a transport back to our bnb as it was not easy to call a Grab/Gojek from their location - so so grateful for this! Special thanks to Adi our server who helped us from start to end, we couldn’t thank him enough! Needless to say, if you’re looking for a 5-star dining experience with the best service, you have to try Akar Ubud!

I had the most amazing and exquisite dining experience at Akar Restaurant in Ubud to celebrate our anniversary. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff, Bli Surya went above and beyond to make us feel special, and their attentiveness was sincere, not at all forced or fake. They even helped us capture some beautiful moments with thoughtful photos, adding a personal touch that made the evening even more memorable. The ambiance was perfect for a romantic evening, with a cool, relaxed vibe that created an intimate setting — truly ideal for couples. To top it off, we were treated to a wonderful array of complimentary items as part of our celebration, including a side dish, sparkling wine, dessert, and even tequila shots! These little extras made the experience feel even more special. The food was definitely the highlight. I chose the couple set for 1,600k, which came with four different kinds of sauces, meats, and a selection of salts. The flavors were incredible, and I was particularly impressed by the unique knife selection — such an interesting touch that added to the overall experience. This was my very first time dining at Akar, and I can confidently say it won’t be my last. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to have an unforgettable, romantic dinner in Ubud. The combination of outstanding service, a great atmosphere, and phenomenal food makes Akar a true gem.
